Mrs. Strachan's News

January 20, 2009

Dear Parents,

A day when history is made I pray God will bless our country and its new leaders.  It will be interesting to see what the next few years bring.  I hope President Obama will make all the changes he promised us during his campaign.

I appreciate the concern each of you have shown me during the last few months.  Unfortunately, John is still having no luck in finding a job. He is beginning to think God is leading him towards starting a private practice.  I guess time will tell.  Please continue to keep us in your prayers.  I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I know that God is in control!

My last day at FCA is this Friday.  You are all invited to join us for a farewell party this Friday at 1:30. Tara Mahaffey is planning the event.  I’m sure she would appreciate anybody willing to help her.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be days like all the rest.  Your children will be reading, writing and learning new math skills.  I will try to keep things moving just like they normally do.

I want to thank each of you for the opportunity to work with your precious children.  I have loved getting to know them and each of you!  I will miss their smiling faces, funny jokes and sweet personalities.  I wish each of you much happiness and success.  For some of you our friendships will continue because we share the same church home, but for the rest of you I thank God He allowed our paths to cross.  Please keep in touch via email.  I would be happy to be of any help if the need arises.  Good luck!

Sincerely,

Kristen Strachan
